Tesla or Cruises
Tesla Model 3/X/Y or cruises, which one is faster? The answer seems to be straightforward because Model 3 can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds that there is no such boat or cruises that can run this speed.
But, the situation could change that occurred last week.
As shown in the chart that compared TSLA with RCL. Although TSLA is a long-time strong, outperforming stocks, its best time may be over, at least for now. We noticed about 1-2 weeks, many technology stocks were topping out like AAPL, AMZN and published several articles about it.
Thus, we shift our focus on cruises, hotels, and airlines. These stocks have a chance to rise up because of lower cases for COVID-19. We bought both RCL (02/16) and MAR (02/19) last week.
Today, it showed that RCL +4% is indeed faster than TSLA -4%. In fact, our holding in RCL already reached +21% profits as of now.
Most hotels (WYNN, MAR, LVS, MGM), cruises (RCL, CCL, NCLH), and airlines (AAL, DAL) are doing very well recently.
The main point is to pay attention to the rotation, including index, sector, or industry, to be part of the decision-making process to buy, hold or sell a stock.
