Switch to Defensive Gear
Nasdaq -1.27%, DJIA -0.77% S&P 500 -0.65% were the scorecard today. Previous tech mega leaders weakened again (AAPL, MSFT, GOOGL, AMZN, TSLA) that showed mode switched from offensive to defensive.
Especially, money flows to REIT +2% and utilities +1.5% sectors. Consumer staples was positive today; that is a typical defensive move.
Therefore, adjusting portfolio from offensive by selling technology positions and buying defensive stocks in REIT, utility or consumer staples could be reasonable actions.
